VISIT TO MUSEUM

A guided visit to Museum Santos Rocha and its Neolitic and Paleolitic unique collections will be offered upon arrival, on Sunday afternoon.

 

FOLK DANCES

In the gardens of the Conference Hall colourful and cheerful Folk dances will be performed in the late afternoon.

 

WELCOME BUFFET

A welcome Buffet will take place on Sunday evening at the Conference Hall.

 

GASTRONOMIC FESTIVAL

The Monday Lunch will be composed of traditional Portuguese fish dishes, included in the Gastronomic Festival of Figueira da Foz.

 

TRADITIONAL PORTUGUESE SONGS

On Monday afternoon, a local ensemble will present traditional Portuguese songs.

 

WINE DEGUSTATION

A selection of Portuguese wines from the various regions of the country, presenting different characteristics, will be offered to the participants, together with some taste of Portuguese cheese.

 

EXCURSION TO COIMBRA

The Conference excursion is scheduled during Wednesday afternoon and can be chosen from 2 options:

1. A guided visit to the city of Coimbra and the old University.
2. A guided visit to Fatima and its Sanctuary.

 

CONFERENCE DINNER

The Conference Banquet will be on Thursday evening in a pleasant site in Figueira da Foz and includes a Coimbra Fado Session.
